Harold Traylor made a new ET and MPH record. The previous record holder was ... you guessed it ... Harold Traylor himself, with an ET of 8.70 and 116.91 MPH. Harold drives PGJ #049, aptly named Bitch Quick.

Roger Roadstrom Jr. driving his Comp Flat, broke the 136.73 MPH record for the CF class. This may give a new meaning to the name of his #045 CF boat, which is called, Flat Broke.

TAH #150, Bad Habit, Is One Fast Boat And Kebin Kinsley Has No Fear Of Speed.

At the NJBA 2007 May Shootout held at Lake Ming, the crowd witnessed Kebin Kinsley rocket down the liquid track at the record speed of 215.77 mph which he later backed up during the Sunday event, when he ran a 213 plus mph. The run would have bumped the 2005, 213 mph record set by John Swanson, and the lesser of the two speeds would have been the recognized mph official pass.

The record, which was announced over the NJBA PA system, was not confirmed officialy because, according to Race Director Brian Busby, they did not have another racer in their class to match up with in the later round to make the second pass official.

Last year BGH Showtime, a capsule boat, piloted by Brad Parrack and owned by Eddie and Debbie Pacilio, made a record run on this very same lake. For that story click here.

Showtime, once owned by the Orrs and driven by son, Jeff, ran 190 mph.
After that run, Orr decided to park it in the garage for 3 years until he sold it and the affiliated spare parts inventory, to make space, for a Dune Buggy. Our source reports the Dune Buggy is not just your run of the mill sand rail and it looks worth every penny of the reported $40,000 investment.

Sources say that Showtime has a new owner, Brian Busby, who has a RAP photo of the record run at Ming, and he wants to get the boat back out on the water racing again.
